The content of the phase of test conclusion on the one hand is to analyze and to archive the experiences and results of the realized test project to gain insights for optimization measures. In this way the efficiency of the future testing can be increased through a continous optimization process.
On the other hand after a successful test conclusion the Go Live of the tested software system has to be performed. Usually this is a very complex undertaking that – like the test activities – must be thoroughly planed and controlled. The test manager will often be also a good Go Live Manager because he achieved deep knowledge about the software system during the accomplished integration, system and user acceptance test.
